Authenticity: The Key to Success in
Marketing, Video and Life
Presented by Sven Hosford
Note new venue:
Highland Golf
Club
There is a growing movement in the business
world towards greater transparency, openness
and integrity. Some call it "Conscious
Capitalism" and it is exemplified by the
growing interest in companies having a Triple
Bottom Line-where Planet and People are as
important as Profits.
This awareness is fueled both by science and
spirituality. Seekers enjoy aligning their
morals and ethics with their business
practices, while the emerging new science of
consciousness is proving that transparency
and cooperation are the natural laws of the
universe, and that separation and competition
are purely human creations with less than
desirable by-products.
- How does a Professional Business Person
embrace this new awareness?
- How can we use it to change our
personal life, our business life and our
spiritual life?
- How can these principles help us
increase the impact of videos we create of
ourselves
for the web?
This program will answer these questions and
present the idea that Truth is what people
respond to on a deeply powerful energetic
level and that by presenting oneself to the
world in an authentic and transparent way,
you can attract the exact quality as well as
quantity of clients that desire.
Participants will gain:
- basic understanding of emerging science
of consciousness
- understand how that awareness is
rippling through the business world
- see how an authentic presentation of
oneself on video can be a powerful tool of
personal as well as professional
transformation
About the Speaker
Sven Hosford after careers as a Navy
journalist and as a graphic designer, Sven
Hosford
launched Point of Light in 1994. For 15
years, Sven was the publisher and managing
editor of Pittsburgh's only magazine devoted
to holistic health and spiritual living.
Recently he closed that publication to launch
a web-centric media network called
Peaceburgh, which has a presence
online and
via email as well as in print. His interviews
with the world's leading experts in
consciousness, psychology, nutrition and
spirituality give him a unique perspective on
our multi-dimensional universe and our place
within it. He uses all the latest
technologies to spread the message that Peace
on Earth begins with Peace in your Heart. His
interviews are available on

FEATURE ARTICLE 10 Healthier Eating Habits
|
|
by Laura Crooks www.YouBloomWellness.com
Your performance, health and sense of
wellness are affected by your eating habits,
which include not only what you eat but also
why and how you eat.
Pick one of these healthier eating tips to
start working on today.
- Eat moderate portions. Many of
us eat more than we need to because of
habits, stress, or availability. Try slowly
eating half your usual portion and see how
you feel in 30 minutes.
- Sit at a table to eat; this
includes every piece of candy, snack, and
"tastes" while cooking or cleaning up. You
might be amazed at how much mindless munching
you do.
- Serve from the stove.
Having to stand up to get seconds can deter us.
- Eat slowly. This lets you
really taste, savor, and enjoy what you eat
and gives your brain the 20 minutes it needs
to register that your stomach is full.
- Use smaller plates and bowls.
We tend to fill our plates; smaller
plates hold less food.
- Eat when you are hungry and
stop when you start getting full. This
eliminates emotional eating, habitual eating,
and eating just because it's handy. Use a
1-10 hunger scale (10 being very full), eat
at about 3 and stop at around 7. We make
poor food choices when we are too hungry.
- Read nutrition labels.
Don't mistake package advertising for
nutrition information.
- Eat the rainbow. Eat a wide
variety of foods and make colorful choices to
get the widest assortment of nutrients.
- Eat breakfast that includes
some protein. This resets your metabolism
and keeps you full longer.
- Eat how your great-grandmother
ate. Eat more food and fewer food
products. Go back to whole grains,
non-processed foods and meats, and lots of
locally grown fruit, vegetables, and legumes.
