Description:
Susan English, past president of PCA, will host Dr. Michael Forlenza as he
teaches on empathy and compassion. Michael asserts that empathy and
compassion are crucial for establish trust and intimacy in the context of a
mindful coaching presence. In the teleconference, we will discuss
different aspects of empathy and compassion, learn techniques for
cultivating compassion and apply compassion in a coaching context. This
presentation will not be a repeat of the program Michael presented at the
PCA meeting in January but will be an extension of that mindful teaching and
go more deeply into the concepts of empathy and compassion.
